Two best friends with a common interest… lacrosse. It all started in middle school, where we both fell in love with the sport.  Little would we know this passion would lead to a brotherhood filled with so many memories. These unforgettable times were filled with countless life lessons, but one thing that never changed was the relationship that we had built while playing lacrosse. As the years progressed and high school began, it became evident that this was more than just a game but something that would be part of our lives forever. Over time, we developed into leaders on and off the field, showing everyone that life is not just about winning. Whether it was leading our team to our first playoff game, hosting team bonding events, or being counselors at camps, we realized that the bond we had forged with so many people over the love of the game was profound. Upon the end of high school, Destin decided to step away from playing the sport, but Thomas continued to pursue his passion for the game in college. While in college,  Thomas started, as his teammates would say, “sweeping the turf” whenever he celebrated his goals. This is where the original idea of Sweep It Lacrosse Company came from.

 

Over the years, we would always joke about how we wanted to own a business one day, never knowing how we could connect it to something we loved. We suddenly realized we could create something that would not only represent the love of the game but also something that would celebrate the community and the relationships created over the years. We wanted to create products that symbolize what lacrosse means to us; Lacrosse builds more than teams, it builds families.
